A Billion

How much is a billion?

  • A billion seconds ago it was 1959.
  • A billion minutes ago Jesus was alive.
  • A billion days ago...there was no earth (if you hold to a "young earth" view of creation).
  • A billion dollars ago was only 8 hours and 20 minutes, at the rate our government is spending it.

    This is very interesting! I enjoyed sharing it with my 6 year old, who is fascinated with numbers (well, I left out the part about the government. No need to expose him to that, yet).
