My wife & I were enjoying lunch at Subway, which has two TVs perma-tuned to CNN, which covered Rosie's departure. I watched the whole thing and couldn't figure out why it was news.
Though perhaps the fact that I was watching it is an answer in and of itself. News doesn't have to be newsworthy; it just has to get ratings.
I was changing a diaper! All in all it fit the occastion!
To romans1423: I don't know why it's "news" either.
