Top 100

Outreach Magazine recently published a list of "The 100 Largest U.S. Churches". In the top 20, there are at least six that I would classify as "seeker sensitive/emergent." Thank goodness there weren't any more than that. Sadly, four out of the first five fall into this category.

Keith - How can you possibly keep Ann Coulter on your sidebar? She is the most self absorbed shock hound I've ever heard. Her so called conservative views aside, she doesn't even make an attempt to be a Christian.

Ann Coulter can be a bit harsh sometimes...but I guess she's no harsher (is that a word) than Mark Driscoll, so I guess that's OK (using the emergent line of logic: "She's just stating reality.")

I would put Driscoll and Coulter in the same category.

As I said before, you are different from your fellow contributors at CRN.Info. Several seem to have no problem with Driscoll, while at the same time, I imagine they would voice some of the same "concerns" as you re: Coulter. The difference? Hypocrisy, maybe?

Does everyone in Houston go to only four churches?

I think Lakewood and Second Baptist have the corner on the market.
